More and more people are turning to preventive health care and utilizing available resources to become better educated about medicine today. Hundreds have found help through the hospital's Educational Services department which houses the hospital's official Medical Library, accredited CME program, and a community and continuing education center for the public.
The Medical Library includes a broad spectrum of textbooks and publications, as well as an extensive collection of journals in the health sciences for use by physicians, hospital employees and the public. Assisted searches are provided. A photocopier is available for a low 10 cent per page fee.
Valley View is a provider of Category I Continuing Medical Education (CME) for Oklahoma physicians. It is one of 23 sites statewide. VVRH is one of nine rural hospital sites. As an accredited sponsor of CME, VVRH is able to offer continuing education seminars, conferences, and workshops to VVRH physicians as well as licensed physicians and dentists throughout Oklahoma.
