"It's all about baby
and family" in Valley View Regional Hospital's Family
Center. You'll find the latest in technology and comfort
here for both general and C-section deliveries. The Family
Center is complete with birthing rooms for normal deliveries, a surgical
room for C-section deliveries, a large nursery, family waiting area,
and a Level II Neo-Natal Intensive Care Unit. Babies
are important to us. That's why every infant born at Valley View, not
just those at risk for hearing loss, receives an ABR (Automated
Brainstem Response) hearing screening. ABR is one of the most effective
hearing screenings available today. Valley View was one of the first
hospitals in the state to make this type of screening readily available.
Every infant is
also tested by a non-invasive method called a "Bili-Check."
This method is used to screen for hyperbilirubinemia
and assists the physician in choosing the best plan of care for your
baby. For more

services and programs, click on Obstetrics.
