At Valley View Regional Hospital, not only do you have a full range of services to combat your disease, but you also receive a very special kind of personalized care. Sometimes it's the little things that set one cancer treatment center apart from the rest. At Valley View, this means something as small as supplying a warm blanket to a patient, or a hot meal during an all-day treatment process. At other times, it may mean taking the time to sit down for awhile and talk about the weather, your family, or your plans for the future.
Valley View's Cancer Treatment Center has been assisting patients in their battles with cancer for almost 25 years. VVRH is one of only two hospitals within its 10-county service area that provides a full-time staff oncologist. Other members of its skilled staff include board certified radiation oncologists, a full-time certified radiation therapist and a full staff of dedicated registered nurses and support staff.
Our Cancer Registry, the first of its kind in Oklahoma outside the state's two major metropolitan areas, aids in the research of causes, detection and treatment of tumors.
The Cancer Treatment Center is approved by the Commission on Cancer of the American College of Surgeons, a recognition shared by only 20% of the nation's general and surgical hospitals with cancer programs.
