Cardiology/Neurology

The Cardiology and Neurology department offers extensive diagnostic studies, eliminating the need for patients to travel elsewhere.

This department offers EKGs or ECGs (Electrocardiograms), ECOs (Echocardiograms or ultrasounds of the heart), and EEGs (Electroencephalograms, or test of the brain waves).

A full-service cardiac catheterization laboratory is also available and equipped with the latest in technology.

Seek help if you have chest pain. Contact your physician for advice and the appropriate medical care, even if you are not experiencing a heart emergency.

Call 911 if you have extreme chest pains and you have been diagnosed with heart disease, smoke, are diabetic, have high cholesterol, have a history of blood clots or feel constant chest pain that cannot be relieved by rest.
