"First" in the State
Sometimes the best prescription for a sick patient is a ticket home. Valley View Regional Hospital recognized this fact early on and in 1972 developed the first hospital-based home health care service in Oklahoma.
Broad Service Area
Valley View's Home Health Care provides care to patients that reside within a 50-mile radius of Ada, Oklahoma. This area includes Pontotoc, Johnston, Coal, Pottawatomie and Seminole counties. It also encompasses portions of Hughes, Cleveland, Garvin, Murray, Marshall, Carter, Atoka and Bryan counties.
Higher Level of Care
The majority of skilled nursing visits are made by Registered Nurses. Personal care visits are made by Licensed Practical Nurses.
The VVRH Home Health Care is accredited by the Joint Commission for Accreditation of Health Care Organizations and is a member of the Oklahoma Association for Home Care. It is certified by Medicare and licensed by the State of Oklahoma.
