Physical Therapy

Optimum care means you have the right number of staff to take care of your patients. Valley View's Physical Therapy department includes four Physical Therapists and two Physical Therapist Assistants to assist our in-patients, out-patients and home health care patients with one-on-one personalized care. All Valley View Regional Hospital therapists are trained in caring for pediatric, adult and geriatric patients to restore maximum movement and relieve pain.

Physical Therapy is available by a physician's order. After you have been referred to the department, a careful evaluation is completed to assess your problem and current condition. A comprehensive treatment plan is then immediately set in place to get you back in action and on the road to recovery. We provide for sports injuries, back and neck pain, post-operative issues, on-the-job injuries, lymphedema, and neurological deficiencies, developmental delays, and prevention of future injuries.

For more information about physical therapy, please e-mail valleyview@vvrh.com or visit the American Physical Therapy Association website at www.apta.org.
