Pre-Admission Process Streamlines Care

Research shows the more prepared and less anxious a person is about surgery, the faster that person heals. At Valley View, we recognize the importance of preparing our patients for surgery. That's why we've created a unique Pre-Admission process for those undergoing inpatient procedures. The admission process has been streamlined so that one person guides you through the process of admitting, preparing for surgery and also, your aftercare. 

We do the preliminary work for you. It's the Pre-Admission Nurse's job, not yours, to make sure all the necessary tests have been ordered, completed and the results returned. The same friendly face is there to explain each step of the surgical procedure in detail, before surgery. Your needs for ancillary services, such as physical therapy, rehabilitation, social work services, and home health care, are also identified before you leave the hospital.
