Wound Healing Center

The Valley View Wound Healing Center, located on the ground floor of Valley View Regional Hospital offers specialized treatment for hard to heal wounds. Problem wounds are spurred by the aging of America and the increase in diabetes. Approximately 18.5 million Americans have diabetes, and of that population about 1.8 million will suffer from a problem wound.

The Would Healing Center is an outpatient hospital based program open five days a week and operates by appointment only. The Would Healing Center is staffed with a Medical Director as well as a team of experienced wound care physicians, therefore a physician referral is not necessary.

The Wound Healing Center houses three Hyperbaric Oxygen Therapy (HBOT) chambers which provide patients with the latest in wound healing. The HBOT procedure provides patients with 100 percent oxygen while relaxing in the pressurized chamber. This process delivers high concentrations of oxygen to the blood stream and the wound bed, which rapidly accelerates the healing process.

For more information about the Valley View Wound Healing Center or to schedule an appointment please contact 580-272-1731.
